Art Night: A Celebration of Aspiring Student Artists

6:00-7:00 PM: Juried exhibition of DCPS student artwork with awards presented by DC Public Schools Chancellor Michelle Rhee 


7:00-9:00 PM:  Celebration of DCPS artwork.  Cocktails and light refreshments provided.


Please join us in the Mandarin Oriental Art Gallery, overlooking the Tidal Basin.  The evening's proceeds benefit DC Public Education Fund, a non-profit organization with a mission to dramatically improve student achievement in the District of Columbia by serving as a strategic partner to businesses, foundations, community leaders, and individual donors in supporting and investing in high-impact programs with the District of Columbia Public Schools.


Art Night is presented by DC Public Education Fund's Young Professionals Committee, a group committed to supporting strategic education reform efforts within DC Public Schools by raising awareness of reform efforts in DCPS and raising funds in support of DC Public Education Fund. 


Art Night is generously sponsored by the Mandarin Oriental Hotel.


Suggested donation: $35  in advance, $40 at the door.
